Jan30Kjetil Great stuff!Remember that FLAC, however suoeripr to e.g. MP3, is not the ultimate digital format if you're looking for true HD sound quality. FLAC works more or less like ZIP-folders and alike in that it compresses/decompresses data in order to save diskspace.I always make a WAV or AIFF rip. Both are professional uncompressed formats developed by Microsoft/IBM and Apple respectively. No compromise.Alternatively, you have the DSD format which is a bit different than WAV and AIFF, but nevertheless uncompressed. |
