| I am the pastor of the chruch where Jane's mother was a member. We had the great, great privilege of having Tom and Jane worship with us several times per year when they would visit her mom. Tom is one of the godliest and humble men I have ever known. He always spoke words of encouragement to me, words that meant so much. And his love for Christ's chruch was so clearly evident. He will be dearly missed by all. But we rejoice that Christ's prayer in John 17:24 has now been fulfilled for Tom: Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me. We pray for Jane and the rest of the family, that their grief will be suffused with hope (I Thess 4:13) |
