| I like GHC as well. My wife works there as a PA I wish it were the norm, but GHC is an anomaly in our heltah care system. It is not a WI mandate. I'm no expert, but it is probably one of the few non-profits in the country, and one of the only cooperatives.This is one of the few areas where I doubt my Libertarian leanings to some small degree. I read Reid's book over vacation two weeks ago after reading Katie's posts about it. I've been meaning to read it for years after seeing the Frontline special a few years ago. It is important to note that similar countries to the US have non-profit PRIMARY care. I think we should too, but I don't know how we get there without a complete overhaul considering half-measures probably will not work.I am pretty pessimistic government, especially national government, can tackle this problem. If you talk to any providers, they will tell you the Medicaid/Medicare system is not working well, and is one of the main reasons why heltah care costs continue to increase so quickly.So, if anyone knows how it would be possible to legally mandate non-profit primary care, I would be interested in hearing how that would work |

| They already made json smehcas so I guess the json crowd is starting to realize the limitations.One problem that I'm not sure that json faces is that XML cannot encode arbitrary binary. You can do a padded UTF-16 trick or base64 but it isn't enough. |
