| Well, I guess that sums up the tenor of most comments, we are bteter than you.What do I read on here all the time? Conservatives are happier, richer, smarter, morally superior, unemotional, high-information, fair and balanced, tolerant, compassionate, generous, yada, yada, yada? I may have even have read faster, stronger and bteter looking, ha, ha.Then there are the constant inferences that liberals are certainly low-information, the men are effeminate (that one always kills me), leeches, lazy, uneducated (or is that overeducated?) pandering, intolerant, naefve, weak, immoral, emotional, dim, etc, etc.What is funny is I know that many of you truly believe that those generalizations are patently true from the perspective in your little foxholes. If these darn liberals would just get out of the way we would get this place on the right track.The economy would be booming, morality would be instilled (by force if necessary), religion would regain its rightful place in government and education, creationism would be taught in science class, everyone could carry a gun, Deadwood-style, the underclass would get off their lazy a$$ and get jobs (where? never mind that).Additionally, we will regain our position as ruler of the world, the Middle East will be settled at the end of a gun barrel, school loans will cease to exist, universities will fire those liberal professors, abortion doctors will stand trial, immigrants will be sent home, except of course those of you who arrived on the Mayflower, Reagan's face will be carved on Mt. Rushmore, maybe in place of that communist, FDR, unions will be destroyed, healthcare will only be available to those that can and will pay for it (cuts down on those pesky lines), Sarah Palin will be recognized as a brilliant mind and all things will get back to way they were in the good old days. Oh, and Obama will be impeached; goes without saying. |
