I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog. I just staertd the C25K program yesterday and my quads are screaming today! After reading the article you linked about stretching, I'm sure it's because I didn't stretch enough. It turns out that I'm more couch than I originally thought as well. I walk two miles on my lunch break at a brisk pace almost every work day, so I thought day 1 would be a piece of cake. I even thought about starting on week 2, but I'm so glad I took it slow. This was a really great read, and I will definitely keep your journey in mind as I go forward. Happy running! |
